“Ah… Yes well.” River smiled as she quoted her husband. “Wibbly wobbly timey wimey.” River thought about her life thinking about how she was sort of cheated out of a normal life but she wouldn’t change it for the world. “So what do you wanna do, mum?” River kind of laughed a bit thinking she couldn’t call Amy that in public since she looked older than her.River’s smile vanished for a second but it quickly returned. “I’ve missed you too mum, I try to see you as much as I can. Make up for lost time. I’ll visit more often I promise.” River thought of the younger version of Amy at the Byzantium. She remembered that Amy was so frightened and there wasn’t much River could do to comfort Amy since it was the first time Amy had met River, but River could now. River smiled at her mother and hugged her softly “Let’s hang out. Do something, yeah?”
Amy hugged her daughter back,
“Yeah… Lets do something” She laughed, “It’s so weird having a grown-up daughter. But still I’ve known you for so long, mels” She remembered all the times she spent with Melody. “Wait… You… you made me realise Rory liked me. You got your parents together!?!?!” Amy laughed shocked.

-He saw the weak smile but it was progress for him so he was glad to see it. He knew River had pain inside but he couldn’t change that.- That’s comforting to know. Who wants to turn evil and unkind? -He chuckled and winked at her. he two went back to eating his omelet.- You know, after we’re done this I’d love a stroll. What you think, River? Lovely stroll down the road. For once no alien invasions. -he chuckled again then bit into his omelet.- Nice change of pace.
River now couldn’t help but smile. Even if this wasn’t her exact Doctor, he was still the Doctor and she could see her Doctor. Taking a sip of her water she nodded at the Doctor’s proposal. Before she put the drink down she glanced down then smiled at him. The Doctor and her had been on many strolls in her past— no distractions ever. “I would love to, Swee— Doctor.”
Right then! -He clapped his hands together and grinned.- Food first. I will not let this go to waste and then we’ll enjoy the stroll while it is still dark out. -He checked his watch.- Which we still got plenty of time for. Not nearly as beautiful during the day as in the night. Almost completely boring. -He cringed at the thought then went back to eating.-
River grinned a bit then went to finishing her omelet. River looked up at the Doctor quoting something he said once or was going to say. “Good thing about time travel, you get to skip the boring bits.” River chuckled lightly and took another gulp of water. She was done even though there was some omelet left on her plate. “Such a slow eater.” She chimed at him with a smirk.
